I planned to start this blog with some statistics and other data I have accumulated over the last few years. There will be one notable exception (I am invoking the right of owner) and that is my experience with the National Health System while I was in England (It was very good). I will save that for another post.
You will find that, as you read the blog, I am a strong supporter of single payer health care and not a big fan of the Joint Commission. I will leave the blog open for comments, however they will be reviewed and I will accept other opinions provided that they are backed up with data and the source is quoted. “I heard that the people in Canada despise their health care system” will not be accepted. “According to [include reference here] X% of Canadians are unhappy with their health system” will be accepted. Understand that I will most likely check out the reference and provide a counter argument if there is data. I will delete the post if I can’t find the reference, so please be thorough. You may, or may not, be surprised how many times a reference is made to a non-existent document or website.
